There are a few reasons that you may need a tooth extraction. For example, teeth which have been damaged by oral trauma and are cracked or damaged beyond repair may need to be extracted.

The tooth extraction process at Origin Dental is quick and easy and takes only about 5 minutes per tooth. To begin the procedure, Dr. Victor Tran will clean your teeth and numb your mouth. You can also be sedated if you wish.
Once your mouth is numb, Dr. Tran will use a special tool called a “dental elevator” to loosen the tooth in the socket. Once it’s sufficiently loose, he will grab the tooth by the root with dental forceps, and pull it out of the socket. Next, he will clean the area and suture it shut. This process will be repeated for any additional teeth which require extraction.

With this method of sedation, you can relax throughout your appointment, and you may even fall asleep and forget most of what happens during the procedure.
